Time is running short and with being buried alive, there's no guarantee he'll be found before he runs out of air. Rated: T

Reader: Leo’s been buried alive and the guys have 60 minutes to find him.  60 Minutes is just fun in an intense sort of way. I like stories that happen in "real time". There's an increased sense of suspense and urgency.

Best Selves by Firebird Scratches

A look at the turtles in their 30's, as their family grows and undergoes some major changes. Mostly 2012 'verse, but more like 2032 - and gleefully borrows from other 'verses. Capritello, but everyone in the family gets a chance to shine. MA, for cussin', adult situations, and some smutty chapters. TW: The Giants are losing. Cover art by turtle-sketches. Rated: MA

Reader: So for Best Selves I would say I like a glimpse into the turtles' future and what their lives would be like in trying to build a family and relationships and being a part of the outside world. Leo and Donnie's stories are especially dear to me in what they are dealing with - an aging sick father and fighting for equality.

Picking Up the Pieces by Sanru

**Fan Fiction Competition Winner**

I can’t remember anything and nothing is making any sense. All I know is that I’m a giant mutant turtle and that there are other mutant turtles doing everything they can to keep me safe. Why are they so familiar, anyways? Rated: K+

Reader Note: It's a WIP, but the author has already updated it five times since I started reading it. It's actually the first fanfic in this fandom that I stumbled across. One of the brothers escapes from a lab with no memories what-so-ever and has to find a way to remember the strange people around him while being unable to communicate with them. It's entirely from his POV and you get this wonderful sense of family as he slowly remembers everyone, while the author simultaneously builds the tension that indicates he needs to remember and the sooner the better. The cryptology's actually pretty easy to figure out once you recognize what the names are - I've gotten to the point that I'm starting to figure it out without a cheat sheet and just read it straight as it is.
